AVAILABLE FOR REMOTE FREELANCE OPPORTUNITIES AND ART COMISSIONS

I’m an independent Graphic Designer, Creative Director, and Artist whose work spans the commercial, editorial, digital, typographic, music, and art spaces, collaborating with clients both big and small.

With 5 years of experience, I’ve worked across a broad spectrum of creative roles, including illustrator, graphic designer, UGC creator, and product photographer. My approach blends digital and analog techniques, balancing a disruptive style with the ability to adapt to the specific needs of each brand.

Within my studio art practice, I create a range of abstract digital works—formed and formless—that explore color and bold, disruptive compositions. These works connect expressive creativity with purposeful gestures, resulting in impactful visual narratives.

My design philosophy combines bold creativity with precise detail. Every visual is clean, impactful, and purposeful, with each element thoughtfully placed. Whether it's minimalist elegance or daring, vibrant compositions, I prioritize clarity and brand alignment. I love to experiment with color, typography, and layout to create designs that tell compelling stories and inspire action.

I am also passionate about collaborating with indigenous people, healers, and organizations in the entheogenic/plant medicine space, as well as environmental and climate action non-profits. I’m equally interested in working with innovative lifestyle and action sports brands.

The amapola flower (poppy seed flower in spanish) is known for its vibrant red petals and delicate structure. However, behind its fascinating allure lies a warning. The amapola is known for its use in the production of opium, a dangerous substance renowned for its addictive qualities. Thus, while it enchants with its beauty, it serves as a stark reminder of duality.

This natural symbol has witnessed an internal conflict between admiration and fear, attraction and rejection, making it an emblem of contradictions.

Ultimately, amapola challenges us to think outside the box, inviting us to approach the complexities of the world with an open and understanding mind. Amapola is all about embracing duality in life and recognizing the duality within yourself.

The truth is that amapola is not for everyone. And thats okay too.

I’m Ana Paula Martinez, mexican graphic designer. I am 24 years old and consider myself a spontaneous, disruptive and determined, creative.

Graduated with honors from Universidad Anáhuac Querétaro with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Industrial Design.

I see Amapola as my creative "alter-ego", an extension of my artist-self. Amapola loves aesthetics and the unconventional. However, she loves to break rules with intention, experimenting with boundaries and creating disruptive and memorable designs.
